Networking
Master the infrastructure that keeps everything connected, from routing and switching fundamentals to enterprise-level network design and troubleshooting.

About Track
Every application, cloud platform, and security control sits on a network, and this track starts at that foundation. From the first module, you’ll work practically with real address space, subnetting, routing, and troubleshooting. You’ll learn to read network behaviour and use the OSI model to identify and fix faults, not simply memorise it. The track moves from foundation to professional level, building the skills needed for a career in networking and infrastructure.

What You Will Learn
Network fundamentals
How data moves. The OSI and TCP/IP models used as diagnostic tools rather than trivia, plus cabling, topologies and the vocabulary the rest of the track depends on.
Addressing and subnetting
IPv4 and IPv6 addressing, subnetting by hand until it is quick, VLSM, and how address design either helps or haunts a network later.
Switching and VLANs
Layer 2 in practice: switching behaviour, VLAN design, trunking, spanning tree, and the failure modes each one introduces.
Routing
Static and dynamic routing, OSPF, route selection, and what actually happens to a packet at every hop between source and destination.
Network services and security
DHCP, DNS, NAT and access control lists, plus the baseline hardening any network is expected to have before it goes live.
Troubleshooting and design
A structured method for diagnosing faults under pressure, then designing a small enterprise network end to end and defending your choices.
This is only a snippet of what the track covers. To get started, register now.
